Taiwan noodle Restaurant

If you want to miss Asian or Taiwan taste noodle instead of Japanese Ramen or Okinawa Soba, this taiwanese Noodle restaurant is your next stop.

We ordered Beef broth soup Taiwan noodle and roasted pork noodle with rice and sweets.
We smelled the star anise from Beef broth soup. This is the same as real Taiwan beef noodle. No hot spice was added but we can add by ourself.

Roasted pork noodle is also smooth soup and rice crispy roasted noodle.
As sweet, candied sweet potato. My son loved this potato. We are pretty full. Nice volume and price is 980 Yen for lunch set.

(Dumpling taste was OK when we tried this restaurant for 2nd try.)
We 'll repeat this restaurant when we are hungry.

Cold Noodle and dipping Noodle for summer

In summer, we don't want to eat the hot noodle in humid and sweaty Okinawa weather. We have the summer option for Okinawa soba or ramen noodle.

1. Cold Okinawa soba
Not all okinawa soba restaurants but at some restaurants you can find special summer menu, cold okinawa soba. We went to Miyo-ya and find special summer menu and I ordered dipping okinawa soba with sesame source. (the other choice is soy based source and Chinese source.)

2. Dipping Ramen noodle
Dipping ramen noodle becomes famous in Japan and as same as in Okinawa. Normally dipping noodle is wider and thicker to enjoy deep and thick soup. One of the famous dipping ramen noodle restaurant near Onna village is Gin-bee Noodle shop. I went to this restaurant around 11:30 am because always this restaurant is crowded.
I ordered large size of dipping noodle. Size choice is normal, large and special large. Noodle is like udon noodle, pretty wide and enough texture. Soup is strong fishy smell. If you don't like Katuo bushi (dried bonito flakes ) smell, I don't recommend you to go there. For japanese, pretty tasty. bit oil for me after eat all.

Hama Ya Traditional Okinawa soba at sunabe!

I love this Okinawa noodle shop. We don't have good view comparing Nakamura soba etc, but taste and price is awesome. Place is next to Sunabe seawall. You can stop by after surfing or diving at Sunaba easily.

We always order normal Okinawa soba and Yushi Tofu soba. Yushi tofu soba is coming with steam rice. You can change to Jucyyy in additional 50 JPN Yen. We always order so.

Okinawa soba near 3A main city at Naha new capital

It's not easy to find good restaurant near Naha new capital area.
One of my recommendation is the Udon and Tempura shop. Good quality of Tempura.

Here is the other restaurant, good for family. Free noodle for kids and free rice(Ju-cy-) during lunch time.


Restaurant outside (building )itself is prefabricated house, you can usual see at the contraction field. It looks old, weird, and not clean. But inside is clean and taste is good. Waiters are all smile and good attitude. I feel good atmosphere even this is the first time.

Inside is clean and you can see alot of famous signatures.




Soup is very clear, and not oily. not salty. I like this kind of clear and smooth style of Okinawa soba. It similar to 'Miyoya' in Kidana.
Noodle was served afeter 2 min we ordered. very quick.

Free ju-cy(rice) and kid noodle is good for family. and price is very reasonable (500-700JPN Yen).

Okinawa noodle and pork katsu

In summer time, famous okinawa noodle shops are crowded by tourist during Lunch time. I don't want to wait for lunch. Miyo Ya is one choice. Not famous and not crowded, but tasty. Actually we repeated several times last two months. If you like non-oily soup for noodle, this is one choice for you. (Bansho tei is the other choice.)

I ordered Pork katsu set, including noodle, rice, and pork Katsu. around 700 JPN Yen. Cheap!

Ramen Noodle, Musou at Ginowan

If you like spicy noodle, 坦々麺 (Tantan men) in Okinawa, 無双(Muso) is one spot to eat good one in the middle of Okinawa.

This shop's Tantan men is bit sour in addition to spicy and creamy from sesame.

I think it is worth to drive 20min from Mihama area.

Okinawa soba with ocean view

Between Kadena and Yomitan, there is one Okinawa soba shop with ocean view. Nakamura Soba is quite popular in Onna village, but if you want to eat noodle in the quiet place with your partner, this is pretty nice place. Shop atmosphere is more like cafe rather than soba shop.

Price is 600 JPN Yen for normal size. For me, pretty enough size. For female, small size (400 JPN Yen) might be good.
Noodle itself is straight and soup is OK. little bit salty for me.



Unfortunately, rainy day. It should be better view.
